Changes in 1990s

In 1993, the USN community rallied to build a new playground at the north end of the 19th avenue parking lot. In 1995, the Board voted to air condition to main building. Soon after, the Wrenne House, or "Gray Building" which sat on the corner of Edgehill and 19th Avenues was demolished to make way for construction of the East (Gordon) Wing, which provided a new home for the middle school as well as science and computer labs for the high school. Finally, the 1990s were rounded out with the acquisition of the 80 acres that became the River Campus.
